Dear George,
Last night's launch of Cleveland CARES took our breath away! Thank you a million times and then a million more for once again issuing the call to commitment to our people. You remain my hero, and always my guiding light...

And thank you for offering to follow up with the two brothers who committed to help raise local funds to hire a GCCMM coordinator or executive director. They even spoke about the possibility of creating a space for the person in their offices. National CARES will work with them on strategy and outreach. Also, I mentioned to Rustin that we must find a co-chair to work with Ilinda to ensure the strong leadership needed to advance the Movement here in Cleveland.

Linking arms and aims we will unlock and direct the genius in our underserved children--so many are in dream-crushing pain. With all of us working together, we will end this state of emergency. We will win this race between education and catastrophe. We will, dear George!
